The Dowsett Family Winery is a true family business. There are no employees, only family and friends. Production is limited to 400 total cases of one red and one white. All grapes, packaging materials and production supplies are purchased from people we know and respect. Our first crush was the 2007 vintage. We produce all our wine at Buty Winery, in Walla Walla, Washington. The fruit for our wines comes from vineyards that are perfectly matched to the varieties we purchase. Our wines are sold locally, in the Pacific Northwest and through our mailing list.

There are only two wines produced by Dowsett Family Winery. The white is a dry Gewurztraminer from the Celilo Vineyard, in the Columbia Gorge. We love this variety and the way it complements foods that we eat everyday. The vineyard is the perfect site for this variety to grow in the Northwest. The Devotion, a proprietary red wine is a Rhone style blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache, from three different appellations.
